IABC NL Recognizes Communications Excellence at 2019 Pinnacle Awards Gala

June 27, 2019, St. John’s - The International Association of Business Communicators Newfoundland and Labrador Chapter (IABC NL) celebrated excellence in the field of communications last night (June 26) at its 2019 Pinnacle Awards gala at the Alt Hotel in St. John’s.

“This year has been a great one for communications in the province,” said Gillian Costello, President, IABC NL President. “The calibre of work produced in Newfoundland and Labrador has been recognized as some of the best in the world and our chapter is very proud to recognize the great projects and hard work undertaken. Congratulations to all of this year’s Pinnacle Award winners.”

The event was hosted by Jason Piercey from Rogers TV's Out of the Fog and The Ask Jason Show, and Kathy Dicks-Peyton, Pinnacle Awards Chair and Judging Coordinator. A total of 25 awards were presented in a variety of categories, which are listed in the enclosed backgrounder.

IABC NL was pleased to present David Diamond, CEO of Eastern Health, with the Award of Excellence for Organizational Leader. Additionally, Debbie Ryan of CNIB Newfoundland and Labrador, received the prestigious Award of Excellence for Communications Professional.
