IABC NL announces options for next certification exam

IABC NL is happy to announce the hosting of another GCCC certification exam for communication professionals.

And now, demonstrating your abilities just became more convenient. The Global Communication Certification Council (GCCC) is now providing remote proctoring for the Strategic Communication Management Professional (SCMP) and Communication Management Professional (CMP) designations! This means you have the choice between an in-person exam with us in St. John’s, or you can earn your certification from home, on your own schedule.

Professional certification can elevate your career and help keep your skills fresh. It provides a great opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge and expertise as a communication professional.

Consider becoming certified through the Global Communication Certification Council. As a business communicator, professional certification can elevate your career and help keep your skills fresh and applicable. It provides an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge and expertise.

Two levels of professional certification are offered:

The Communication Management Professional (CMP®) designation is for generalist, specialist and other business communicators established in their careers and looking to demonstrate their competence. The CMP® signifies a commitment to strategic, ethical and excellent communication practice for professionals with at least 5 to 10 years’ experience. The CMP® is ANSI/IEC/ISO17024 accredited.

The Strategic Communication Management Professional (SCMP®) designation is for highly skilled business communicators practiced in providing strategic communication advice and counselling to an organization’s leadership. The SCMP® is ANSI/IEC/ISO17024 accredited.

We encourage you to consider this opportunity to be amongst the first people in Newfoundland and Labrador to be designated by the Global Communication Certification Council!
